Next week ought to be fascinating.

Donald Trump Jr. and Paul Manafort are scheduled to testify publicly before Congress. Jared Kushner is scheduled to testify privately. The Senate is supposed to finally have a vote on a straight repeal of Obamacare, without a replacement plan in mind or sight. The president will continue to tweet, and continue to pursue his long-distance bromance with Vladimir Putin.

The polls will continue to fall. The pressure will continue to grow. And me? I will be totally, gloriously ignorant of it all. Off the grid, out of reach, concerned only with the next fish I catch or the next rapid to negotiate.

But pay attention, so you can fill me in later on what I missed.
