Opinion: "like a tree planted by the water ...."

I first heard this the other night and, well, maybe Pops Staples will not be moved, but I was. This was recorded ten years ago, late in Pops' life and career, but as in Johnny Cash's late work, what time robbed from the vocal quality it more than compensated for with poignancy and power.
