Grammy nominations were announced today, and as part of the full-service investigative journalism that you've come to expect from this blog, I have now listened to and carefully judged all five entries in the category of best rock song of the year.

Of those five, the best rock song of 2014 is:

Of course, that doesn't mean it will win the Grammy. It just means it won a JayBee, for whatever that's worth.
