Eighty-four years ago to the day, in a tiny little burg known as Kingsland, Ark., a baby boy was born to a couple of cotton sharecroppers. Ray and Carrie Cash named their boy J.R.; we came to know him as Johnny.

He died back in 2003, but his music carries on. Happy Birthday, Mr. Cash.

Have a good weekend, everybody.
