You had a good run, Merle, and you packed a lot of hard living into those 79 years.

I could pick any number of songs from the Haggard songbook as a way to honor his passing this week, but here's one of my personal favorites. It showcases his voice nicely, and I love the rhythm of it, the Bob Wills, Texas-swing lilt of it. I hope you enjoy it as well.
