Don your best thinking cap (a sombrero perhaps?) and think up an original taco creation for Tin Lizzy's Cantina's sixth annual taco contest.

This is your chance to get your taco recipe on the books (aka menus), where all eight metro Atlanta Tin Lizzy's locations- including Buckhead, Emory Point, Grant Park, Midtown, Perimeter, Mall of Georgia, Kennesaw and Duluth (opening January 27)- will sample the submitted taco creations with diners. From January 19 to February 27, you can submit your creations online or visit a Tin Lizzy's and scan the QR code on your server's name tag to enter.
Four finalists will be announced on Saturday, February 28, and each creation will appear on Tin Lizzy's menus throughout the month of March. Diners will have the opportunity to taste-test the final four tacos, and whichever taco sells the most will claim victory.
The winner will be announced on April 4 at Tin Lizzy's Perimeter location. The grand prize receives $500 cash and their taco will be featured on the Tin Lizzy's menu. All other finalists come away with some cash too- second place wins $300 cash, third wins $150 cash and third wins a $75 Tin Lizzy's gift card.
“We get thousands of great ideas every year, and narrowing them down to the final four is a real challenge," said co-owner Andy McKoski. “I love that so many people are excited to get involved and possibly see their taco on the menu at Tin Lizzy’s. The past winners have all been extremely creative, fun and delicious, and I know that this year’s winner will live up to that same standard.”
