Look no further than your television because Atlanta Eats will air a special segment about this hot food and dining scene at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 on Peachtree TV. Show highlights will include Fred's Meat & Bread and Yalla. Check your local cable station for channel listings.

Food for thought: Learn more about bean-to-bar chocolate (seriously, what is that?); the science and history of chocolate; and CACAO's sustainable chocolate-making practices at Slow Food for Thought beginning at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21. The cost will be $5 for members of Slow Food Atlanta and $35 for nonmembers.

Create your own cocktail: If shaking things up by way of drinks is your thing, then this class is for you. Sign up for the Victory With Vodka cocktail class from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at Bar Margot . Wine tasting: Tantalize your taste buds with a tour of 12 sparkling wines, rosés and Rhone varietals at Portfino's monthly wine tasting, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21. To complement the wines, executive chef Matt Marcus will provide light appetizers. The cost will be $40.
