Channel Your Inner Beef Butcher.

Avondale Estates' Pine Street Market is known for its well-curated selection of meats and at the end of April, they've invited Steve Whitmire, farmer and owner of Brasstown Beef, to show a room full of folks how to break down a forequarter of a Brasstown steer. Whitmire will demonstrate how butchers carve out Delmonico steaks, bavette steaks, Denver steaks, brisket and short ribs among other cuts and talk about the best ways to cook them. Everyone will enjoy a lunch of roasted beets, local vegetables beer and other beverages and go home with a selection of cuts from the forequarter and freshly ground beef. $150. 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30.
