Shops Buckhead Atlanta has lost another coffee-centric concept.

Revelator Coffee Company announced plans to move its Mourning Dove Cafe to West Midtown. The business' last day of business was Sept. 2.

The cafe, which opened in the upscale dining and shopping development at 3059 Peachtree Road in December 2017, replaced Corso Coffee, which closed in August 2017.

“My staff is incredible, and we're all super excited to bring this concept to more people,” said Mourning Dove chef and general manager Andrea Kirshtein in a prepared statement.  “We'll keep everyone posted on the timing for our  new Westside spot.”

In addition to being the base for Revelator's corporate headquarters, Atlanta is also home to eight Revelator locations, including Mourning Dove and shops it absorbed when it purchased Octane Coffee.

The company is also working on opening a training lab at 641 14th St. NW and will open locations at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza in Buckhead in November.

Revelator also has coffee shops in Birmingham, Charleston, Nashville and New Orleans.

No word yet on what will replace Mourning Dove in Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
