The weather might be frightful, but the show will go on for Atlanta beer lovers on Saturday afternoon at the 12th annual Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting at the Prado, and later Saturday evening at the first annual Atlanta Nuit Belge at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. And looks like there are still a few tickets left for each event.
At Atlanta Cask Ale, sample 50 rare, cask-conditioned real ales from the US and the UK, and take home a free Monday Night Brewing souvenir glass, plus a free one-year online subscription to Beer Connoisseur. Food from 5 Seasons and Taco Mac will be on sale, and you can vote for the "People's Choice" award.
At Nuit Belge, sample Belgian beer paired with unique dishes from more than a dozen Atlanta chefs and restaurants. Among them, Cooks & Solders will pair Straffe Hendrik Wild with mussels, Georgia white shrimp escabeche and squid ink crostini. And soon-to-open Ba Bellies will pair Three Taverns Theophan the Recluse Belgian-style Russian Imperial Stout with Valrhona chocolate, Vietnamese coffee ice cream, peanuts and sea salt.
