6 restaurants for singles to celebrate Valentine’s Day in metro Atlanta

Why should couples have all the fun on Valentine's Day? Tomorrow, celebrate being single at the following six restaurants, which will offer delectable dishes for bachelors, bachelorettes and besties. Dining specials will be valid Tuesday, Feb. 14 only.

TAP: Chef Tyler Williams will create a singles-themed food menu including, macaroni and cheese, English muffin pizzas and a ramen burger plus buckets of beer, $5 drafts and a complimentary glass of champagne for all single ladies.

Sweet Auburn Barbecue : Here, singles can sip a specially made pink pony cocktail created with gin, grapefruit, Bonal, lemon and basil syrup. And, it's priced as a single digit: $6.

The Original El Taco: Whether you roll solo or with your besties, head to this Virginia Highland restaurant for its annual Stupid Cupid celebration, which will feature special shots of jilted juice (pineapple-infused tequila) and rebound-a-Ritas (blood orange skinny margaritas). To complement cocktails, guests can opt for the "Misery Loves Company" special for three to five people, which includes a choice of a salsa, guacamole and queso blanco or salsa, guacamole and queso royale; ten tacos; two desserts; and a pitcher of rebound-a-Ritas to share. Specials will be offered from 5-10 p.m.

Dantanna's: Belly up to the bar for the "Lonely Hearts" Valentine's Day menu, which includes Stab My Heart, a Peruvian style beef heart anticuchos, skewered, grilled, boiled potatoes, corn, and selection of aji sauces; T.V. Dinner, a four foil compartment of mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, fruit cobbler and choice of fried chicken or Salisbury steak; and others. The regular menu will also be available.
