Tuesday, July 4: Drink for a cause at Meehan's Public House in Buckhead for the second annual Independence Day block party with burger and beer specials from noon-3 p.m. A portion of proceeds will benefit BlazeSports America, an organization that offers a variety of sport and recreation programs for kids and veterans with physical disabilities.

Tuesday, July 4: Celebrate stars and stripes at The Roof at Ponce City Market's inaugural Rooftop Backyard BBQ event from 5-11 p.m. Guests will be able to break out their red, white and blue for an evening of barbecue, libations, live music, entertainment and panoramic fireworks view to celebrate America's birthday.
