A longtime Mexican restaurant closed without warning last week.

Across the Street, located at 668 Highland Ave NE, closed last week, What Now Atlanta first reported.

The restaurant, which opened in 2007, specialized in Mexican staples including tacos, fajitas and enchiladas and also served a variety of margaritas. Its dog-friendly patio opened out onto the Freedom Parkway Trail.
