Have a change of heart about dining out on Valentine’s Day?

Several metro Atlanta restaurants are still accepting reservations. Of course you love reading about ingredients and a long-list of perfect parings and settings and such, but, for this last minute dash (or dial) to make a reservation, things are simple: what type of dishes to expect, cost (as applicable) and a phone number. Get ready to eat your heart out on Sunday, Feb. 14, which is the date of all the specials unless otherwise noted.

Brezza Cucina: Signature dishes with Italian and New American influences. Expect perfectly prepared steaks, handmade pasta and an array of delectable desserts plus an extensive wine list. Phone: 404-724-9700.

The Mercury: Signature American favorites. A prix fixe surf and turf dinner specifically for two will feature Caesar salads and 12-ounce New York Strip steaks paired with 4-ounce lobster tail. For dessert, indulge in house-made cheesecake and champagne. Cost: $90. Phone: 404-500-5253.

Le Bilboquet: Upscale French cuisine. A four-course menu inclusive of an amuse bouche and a choice of dishes such as lobster ravioli with white truffle oil; veal chop with winter vegetables; and more. This lovely menu will be available Feb. 13 – 14. Additionally, women will receive a complimentary rose upon arrival. A credit card is required for all reservations and guests will be charged a $50 per person cancellation fee within 48 hours. Cost: $100. Phone: 404-869-9944.

Georgetown Cupcake: Sweet treats. C'mon. Who doesn't love cupcakes, especially when they are offered as a special Valentine's dozen with sweet labels like Hugs & Kisses, Sweetheart, Be Mine and more. Each dozen is available now through Monday, Feb. 29, so feel free to surprise someone before or after the 14th. Cost: $35 per dozen. Phone: 404-257-6502.
