Sunday, July 16: The ninth annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival will feature the south's top chefs, most-skilled mixologists and local farmers teaming up to create tomato-based delights in support of Georgia Organics, a local non-profit connecting organic food from Georgia farms to Georgia families. Held at Park Tavern, guests will be entertained by creative libations, inspired tomato treats and cold pours of SweetWater beer plus a variety of music. Tickets, which are $40 - $125, can be purchased here.

July 16 – 20: This year's Gwinnett Restaurant Week will feature more than 20 restaurants including Ba Bellies, Local Republic, Marlow's Tavern and Sugo Kitchen. During the week, a three-course meal will be $25 and $35 at select restaurants.
UPDATE: Wednesday, July 19: Colletta at Avalon will host the live band Surrender Hill during a festive evening. For good cheap eats and drinks, check out the happy hour menu which features half-price appetizers, pizzas and select bottles of wine from 5 to 7 p.m.
