Free paella in Midtown and more food events in metro Atlanta this week

Celebrate National Paella Day with free samples in Midtown. Sing your heart out and have cider during a competitive Beyoncé karaoke night. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Tuesday, March 27: Love that rice-based Spanish dish known as paella? Then celebrate National Spanish Paella Day with complimentary samples of the dish from 5-7 p.m. at Bulla Gastrobar . One lucky guest will win a $50 gift card. Additionally, red sangria will be available for $5 all day.

Wednesday, March 28: Fans of Beyoncé can head over to Urban Tree Cidery for Bey-OKE!, an open mic night featuring Beyonce-themed karaoke from 6:30-9 p.m. Hosted in partnership with Diva-OKE Series and Run Social, single singers and groups can register to participate, and guests can enjoy Urban Tree's ciders during the show. Saturday, March 31: Celebrate National Clam Day with a clam jam at C&S Chowder House from 7-10 p.m. The event will feature raw, steamed and grilled clams; clam chowders and drink specials like $5 Scofflaw drafts and glasses of wine. Live music will round out the festivities.

Saturday, March 31: Wrecking Bar Brewpub executive chef Terry Koval will team up with Brooklyn-based chef Zachary Golper to host Meat and Grain: A Fermentation Collaboration of Gastronomic Proportions, a five-course meal featuring pairings of fermented meats and breads including bourbon bread and bacon-infused pane dolce plus complementary brews beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets, which are $55, can be purchased here.
