The annual Butcher and Brew Fest will feature almost 20 local breweries, food, live music, games and more in Decatur. There are several fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.
Wednesday, Nov. 7: Celebrate Diwali with food and drink specials, illuminated lanterns and flowers from India, gift bags for guests and more beginning at 5:30 at both Chai Pani Decatur and Botiwalla.

Thursday, Nov. 8: The fourth annual Taste of Hartsfield-Jackson will feature samples from airport restaurants, a live chef competition and live music from Atlanta-based band Gritz and Jelly Butter beginning at 11 a.m. in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport's domestic terminal atrium. The event will be open to passengers and guests; no entry through the security checkpoint will be required. Tickets, which are $15 for a book of 10 tasting tickets (one ticket per sample of food), may be purchased here. Proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry.

Friday, Nov. 9: Andrea Slonecker and Dana Frank, authors of the "Wine Food" cookbook, will join the Perrine's Wine Shop team for a special tasting. Guests will be able to nosh on a selection of bites from the book paired with five wines. Food will be prepared by Miller Union chef Steven Satterfield. Tickets, which are $55 for the tasting and $80 for the tasting and a signed copy of the book, can be purchased here.

Saturday, Nov. 10: The second annual Butcher and Brew Fest will feature almost 20 local breweries, food, live music, games and more beginning at 2 p.m. at Butcher and Brew. Guests will be able to pair drinks with complimentary pretzel necklaces and popcorn; Pine Street Market sausages and hot dogs grilled on a Big Green Egg will be available for purchase. Tickets, which are $40, can be purchased here.
