Ray’s on the River and Veuve Clicquot champagne dinner, more

Head to Roswell to celebrate the 20th anniversary of local fave, PASTIS. In Sandy Springs, Ray’s on the River will partner with Veuve Clicquot for a special champagne dinner. There are several fun food events happening in metro Atlanta this week, so add one or all four of the following activities to your calendar. Be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time. 

 

Now through July 1: PASTIS is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a myriad of activities including food and drink specials, tastings, giveaways and more. Here’s a snapshot of some of the festivities: Wednesday, June 27 – $4 New Amsterdam Vodka Mules. Live music will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday June 30 – Happy hour will include cocktail samplings, passed appetizers and more from 6:30-8 p.m. Sunday, July 1 – The Bloody Mary and champagne brunch will feature a build-your-own bloody Mary bar and $12 endless mimosas from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Thursday June 28: Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Cooks & Soldiers’ Drunk Cider School will offer six ciders and light snacks and teach a brief history of global cider consumption and the basics of cider production. Tickets, which are $39, can be purchased here

Thursday, June 28: Ray’s on the River will partner with Veuve Clicquot for a five-course champagne dinner beginning with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The special menu will include blue crab risotto, seared scallops and cocoa-crusted lamb loin. Each course will be paired with champagne. A seat at the table will be $99; call the restaurant for reservations.

Saturday, June 30: Spend the morning in a hands-on pasta making class, where all guests will be supplied with an apron, recipe card and a glass of Prosecco at The White Bull beginning at 11 a.m. Guests will learn to make extruded or rolled pasta styles and take home their pasta creations after class. Tickets, which are $65, can be purchased here
