A pizza and beer spot that replaced a longtime Emory Village pizzeria announced it will close at the end of the year.

Slice & Pint, located at 1593 N. Decatur Road, addressed the closure on its Facebook page:

The location was previously home to the beloved Everybody's Pizza, which closed in 2013 after 41 years. Slice & Pint, a joint effort from Crawford Moran, the owner and brewmaster of 5 Seasons Brewing Co., and Russ Yates, opened the same year and began serving its own beer in 2014. Slice & Pint also took over the space previously occupied by coffee shop Steady Hand Pour House, which had been leasing from Everybody's.

Steady Hand co-owner Dale Donchey went on to open Spiller Park Coffee , which has locations in Ponce City Market and Toco Hills , with Hugh Acheson.

No word yet on whether Slice & Pint will reopen elsewhere.
