Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall will be hosting Spokes and Folks, a special event featuring Oktoberfest-worthy BBQ bites and biking along the Beltline beginning 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4. Chef Nick Anderson of Rathbun's and the Ladybird team will prepare dishes such as bratwurst, smoked barbecue wings, bacon-braised cabbage, pretzels with spicy beer cheese sauce and potato salad.

Bike. Participants will ride the BeltLine from Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall at mile marker 9.25 to Piedmont Park and back. The Spindle, Atlanta’s urban commuter/bike apparel shop, will lead the ride.

Give. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency assistance grants to Atlanta's restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

Participate. Tickets are $20 and will cover the guided bike ride, food, and one draft beer from Three Taverns Brewery. Additional beverages and treats from King of Pops will also be available for purchase. To purchase, click here.

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is located in Atlanta's historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood at 684 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE.
