Dip into double discounts at The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot is offering all Atlanta-area police officers, firefighters and EMTs professionals a double discount. Through tomorrow, the aforementioned hometown heroes will receive 20 percent off of their entire bill when they present identification or a badge. Post promotion, the daily 10 percent military discount will be extended to them. It's The Melting Pot's way of thanking local first responders for their service year-round.

Additionally, guests who want one last dip before summer ends will be able to enjoy 20 percent off the special Summertime Dip & Sip Menu from Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4. The seasonal menu, which ends on the last day of the promotion, features fondue-style favorites including barbecue beef brisket cheddar fondue, Fondue Indulgence, a mix of shellfish and andouille sausage as well as a decadent dessert called the Banana Split Milk Chocolate Fondue.
