Chef Guy Wong, who previously ran Miso Izakaya and Le Fat, will open his new restaurant Ruby Chow's tonight, Feb. 20, as first reported by Atlanta magazine. After closing Miso Izakaya in 2018 and selling Le Fat last year to focus on the new venture, chef Wong will be back in the kitchen in the Old 4th Ward.

Ruby Chow's, named after the influential Chinese-American restaurateur and politician, takes over the space formerly occupied by Gekko Sushi near Ponce City Market. The restaurant will serve dinner daily, with plans to introduce late-night hours in the spring. The menu consists primarily of small plates, with some updated versions of customer-favorite dishes from Wong's other restaurants. A 40-seat patio will open in later in the spring.

Joining Wong is beverage director T. Fable Jeon, formerly of Himitsu. See below for the full opening menu.
