Ramen maven Mihoko Obunai opened her new bone broth stall, Mihoko's Method Bone Broth, over the weekend.

The spot, located at 660 Irwin St. in Irwin Street Market, across from Krog Street Market, offers a variety of bone broths including chicken, beef and seaweed and mushroom, as well as “Chef’s Broths” such as the Beltliner made with chicken broth, cilantro, lime and turmeric and a “Pet Broth” for dogs.

On the eatery’s website, Obunai touts bone broth as “not only provide the protein today’s foodie craves, but to heal the gut and treat a variety of symptoms.”

Broths are available to eat in the Irwin Street Market by the 10 oz. cup or to take home frozen in 20 oz. pouches.

Obunai, who previously operated Nexto ramen restaurant, also previously ran pop-up Ramen Freak and owned the restaurant Repast with ex-husband Joe Truex.

Mihoko’s Method is open from noon-3 p.m. Friday Saturday.
