Atlanta Wing Fest. Cobb Restaurant Week. Charity dinner at Davio’s. There are lots of fun, food events happening in metro Atlanta today through the weekend (and technically until Monday since one dinner deal is offered two days). Add one or all four of the following events to your calendar and be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time.

Sept. 17 – 24: Celebrate Cobb Restaurant Week with pre-selected three course meals from restaurants including Common Quarter, Seed Kitchen & Bar, Henry's Louisiana Grill and more. Brunch, lunch and dinner will be priced at $15, $25, or $35 per person.

Wednesday, Sept. 21: Cooking for charity. Guests will enjoy roasted acorn squash, organic mushroom risotto and a fennel-hazelnut salad during Davio's Cooks for Charity, a special dining event with executive chef Timothy Magee and special guest Laura Flusche, executive director of the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA). The specialty dish will be $23 and sales will be donated to MODA, which celebrates creativity via exhibitions, education and programming.

Sunday, Sept. 25: Fly over (figuratively, of course) to the inaugural Springer Mountain Farms Atlanta Wing Fest beginning at 1 p.m. at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. The festival will feature wings, beer, Southern spirits and local music to benefit Angel Flight Soars and Second Helpings Atlanta. Presented by Taste of Atlanta, this party with a purpose will feature some of the Southeast's top chefs including Savannah Haseler of Twain's, Todd Richards of Richards' Southern Fried, Cary Ruf of 1Kept, and Matt Basford of Canoe. Chefs from neighboring cities will include Duane Nutter of Southern National (Mobile, AL), Blake Hartwick of Bonterra (Charlotte, NC) and Charlie Loomis of Feed Table and Tavern (Chattanooga, TN). General admission tickets are $25; at the door tickets will be $35.

Sundays and Mondays, ongoing: Sit back and settle in for a three-course dinner at Divan. Menu options will include an appetizer such as turkey "kufta" meatball or chickpea hummus; an entrée, seared sea scallops, chicken, lamb or steak kabob or Mahi Mahi; and dessert, baklava cheesecake or Persian-spiced doughnuts all for $25 per person.
