Barberitos to open Marietta location next week
There will be a new option for fast-casual Mexican food in Marietta starting next week.
Athens-based Barberitos Southwestern Grille & Cantina will open a location at 2960 Shallowford Road at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11. It will be the 28th location in Georgia and operated by Neil Gottenberg, a long time resident of the area.
There are several other Barberitos locations in metro Atlanta, including Buford, Roswell and Atlanta.
The restaurant also introduced a new lettuce wrap entree, available through the summer, including a choice of protein and toppings.
Barberitos was started by Georgia native Downing Barber, a graduate of Valdosta State University and Mercer University.
