Talk about a deer-ing idea: Atlanta-based chain Arby's will add venison to its menu for a limited time next week.

The location at 4415 Roswell Rd. NE in Atlanta will be the only metro Atlanta spot to serve a venison sandwich from Nov. 4-6. The sandwich "features a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions topped with a juniper berry sauce on a toasted specialty roll,” according to an Arby's press release. “The venison is marinated in garlic, salt and pepper and then cooked for three hours to juicy, tender perfection. The juniper berry sauce is a Cabernet steak sauce infused with juniper berries, giving the already unique sandwich another signature twist.”

The sandwich will be offered at 16 other locations across the country, primarily in areas with a high deer hunting population including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

An Arby's representative said the dish will be served on a test basis and "will evaluate the feedback from this limited release before deciding on national plans."
