This year has seen numerous steakhouses open in and around Atlanta, including Kaiser's Chophouse in Sandy Springs  and C. Ellet's at The Battery, a concept by restaurateur Linton Hopkins . The latest to join the primal-cut scene is national chain Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, which has announced that it will open a location in Atlanta next year.

A holding of Texas-based Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, the chophouse will open at 236 Perimeter Center Parkway, in Dunwoody's Park Center, across from Perimeter Mall. The restaurant will have an interior footprint of 9,600 square feet plus some 3,100 square feet of patio space.

The steakhouse chain currently operates 13 venues across the country. Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group also counts Sullivan’s Steakhouse and Del Frisco’s Grille, with a location in the Buckhead, among its holdings.
