Ron Eyester, also known as "Angry Chef" on Twitter, hasn't had the best of summers, -- Timone's, one of his three Morningside restaurants, closed for the second time and AJC food writer Wyatt Williams gave his newest venture, Diner, a less-than-glowing review -- and now the former Top Chef contestant is addressing his "struggling" Grateful Tables Restaurant Group in an open letter.

"It's no secret we're struggling...we ended biting off more than we can chew.  We ended up encountering some scenarios that we obviously could not have and did not forecast.  After all, who the f*** closes the same restaurant twice...This guy!

What once was a haven of consistency and stability is now somewhat a tumultuous road of uncertainty and sometimes, unpleasant surprises.  And while we have endured more than you can imagine, we have suffered a series of consequences."

The AJC has reached out to Eyester for comment -- check back for updates.
