Looking for a little romance ahead of Valentine's Day, Atlanta? Lucky for you, the most romantic restaurant in Georgia is right here in our fair city, at least according to Town and Country magazine.
Canoe, at 4199 Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta, took the Georgia slot in a recent ranking of the most romantic restaurants in each state .

"Nestled close to the Chattahoochee River, visitors here enjoy a private and romantic waterfront that offers glimpses of colorful gardens and winding walkways," Town and Country writes. "Once you've strolled to your hearts' content, take a seat and enjoy the seasonal menu created by Chef Matthew Basford."

The restaurant, which celebrated its 20th year in business in 2015 , also made the AJC's list of some of the best restaurants in Vinings and 5 best Atlanta restaurants for a celebration. The restaurant regularly uses fresh produce from its own garden in its dishes .
