The critically-acclaimed play about a popular author is premiering in Atlanta this summer.

"C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert" will premiere June 23-24 at Georgia Tech's Ferst Center. The production was written by and stars actor Max McLean.

Adapted from Lewis' writings, the production tells the story of "an unwilling conversion from vigorous debunker of all religions to a vibrant and influential Christian intellectual," according to a press release.

"C.S. Lewis Onstage" was produced by the New York-based Fellowship for Performing Arts.

Lewis is best known for writing the popular "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, which featured seven novels beginning with "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."
