Tickets to see Erica Jong, the keynote speaker at the AJC Decatur Book Festival on Labor Day weekend, become available this morning at 11 a.m.
The tickets are free but must be reserved in advance, and they are expected to go quickly.
Jong roiled feminist thought and goosed the sexual revolution with her 1973 novel "Fear of Flying." The book sold 20 million copies.
Her new novel "Fear of Dying," focuses on issues of mortality. Jong will appear in conversation on stage with Roxane Gay, author of the best-seller "Bad Feminist."
Their appearance will kick off the 10th year of the book festival at the Schwartz Performing Arts Center at Emory University on Friday, Sept. 4, at 8 p.m. (See the AJC's story about the event
