On Saturday afternoon, the foundry will host the 43rd Annual Holiday Iron Pour, a molten spectacle to witness, open for free to the public.

It will be the final iron pour to take place at the long-time foundry, at 184 Edgewood Ave. at the corner of Edgewood and Piedmont avenues, as the department relocates to a new facility (also on Edgewood) in 2015.

For guests feeling creative, customized scratch molds will be available for $15-$35.

Doors open at 1 p.m., with the first pour around 4:30 p.m. More info: http://artdesign.gsu.edu/iron-pour-2013.
