New video games this week:

"Ori and the Blind Forest." With a beautiful trailer that evoked Studio Ghibli animation at last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, this side-scrolling adventure game with light role-playing elements is a coming-of-age story with, we hope, a lot of magic. Rated E for Everyone. $20 for Xbox One and Windows PC.

"Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.." (Out on Friday) This curious turn-based game for Nintendo's portable consoles mixes aliens and steampunk. Rated T for Teen for Nintendo 3DS.

Also out this week: "Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition" (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3), "DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition" (PS4, Xbox One), "Assassin's Creed Rogue" (PC), "Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea" (PS3), "Cities: Skylines" (PC), "Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters" (PlayStation Vita, PS3), "Hanachirasu" (PC), "Shelter 2" (PC), "Grapple" (PC), "Starless Limited Edition" (PC), "Mushroom Men: Truffle Trouble" (PC), "Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 3" (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC), "Parallax" (PC), "Professional Lumberjack 2015" (PC), "Enemy" (PC), "Dodge" (PC), "Tennis Elbow 2013" (PC, Mac, Linux), "Heroes of Hellas: Athens" (PC).
