For the first time since 2019, hundreds of kids from throughout Georgia are invited to play on the Jr. Hawks camp courts.

Throughout June and July, the Hawks Basketball Academy will host five separate weeks of camps in the metro Atlanta area, with one week dedicated specifically to young female athletes (July 11-14). The program is open to children aged 8 to 15 of all skill levels. According to organizers, it’s about more than just getting better at basketball; it’s about developing young people’s leadership skills and providing more scholarships than ever before.

“Jr. Hawks Summer Camps presented by Adidas is an impactful community program, which provides us the opportunity to meaningfully connect with hundreds of the next generation of Hawks fans through the game of basketball,” said Hawks’ Vice President of Basketball Development Jon Babul. “We hope to ignite a lifelong passion for the game and provide a memorable experience to every Jr. Hawks camper.”

The weekly camps will run Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will receive professional instruction from development coaches, a Hawks swag bag that includes a full uniform and basketball, the opportunity to compete for prizes and to interact with current and former Hawks stars as well as other team members.
