Holiday magic awaits at Stone Mountain Christmas

Immerse yourself in holiday magic next Saturday when Stone Mountain Park transforms into a winter wonderland complete with festive music, twinkling lights, a string of spectacular shows and attractions and appearances by holiday characters.

During Stone Mountain Christmas, guests can enjoy park attractions such as the Summit Skyride and Scenic Railroad as well as attend special events including the “Snow Angel’s Christmas Parade”, “Santa’s Big Flight” and more.

Last year, the park implemented strict safety precautions for COVID, including performing temperature checks, requiring face masks and enforcing social distancing with markers and queues. This year the park has revised some of those rules.

“Our revised Play Safe policy now allows fully vaccinated guests and guests aged 12 and under to visit Stone Mountain Park without wearing a mask or physically distancing (both indoors or outdoors). Masks are required for non-vaccinated guests older than age of 12 in all indoor areas and remain optional in outdoor areas where social distancing can be maintained,” the park wrote on its website.

While attractions are available daily, most of the Stone Mountain Christmas shows take place on weekends. The various holiday shows include a meet and greet with Rudolph and friends, a “Musical Frosted Forest” with holiday lights and music, an “Enchanted Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony” and the new “World’s Largest Christmas Light Show.”

Admission is $34.95 for adults and $29.95 for children ages 3 through 11. Tickets can be purchased here.
