Getting out of the bed in the mornings can be a challenge. But luckily, there’s one thing you can do to ensure you hit the ground running.

Harvard psychologist Amy Cuddy told Business Insider that all you need to do is stretch. Stretch out as far as you can before you do anything else.

It’s a form of “power posing,” she explained. It’s a pose that mimics the stance of a confident person.

“When you pretend to be powerful, you are more likely to actually feel powerful,” Cuddy said.
