Lynn Puzzo, a Fayetteville-based photographer, captured 11-month-old Aria Dillon as she dived into her Starbucks-themed smash cake.  The little one was decked out in Starbucks apparel and surrounded by cups and sacks from the coffee chain.

Puzzo said she came up with the idea while researching kids’ clothing boutiques.

“I came across Ritzy Baby's Starbucks outfit and planned to purchase it to have in my studio collection,” she told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Then I got the idea to do a cake smash. I couldn't find any other Starbucks-themed cake smash sessions searching on Google, Pinterest or Instagram.”

She put out a casting call, and Santana Dillon, Aria's mother, responded right away. Puzzo then ordered the cake from Atlanta-based bakery Santini Mini Sweets, and set up the shoot.

“Aria was a blast! She is so happy,” Puzzo said. “She smiled and danced through the whole session, keeping her momma and I laughing the entire time. She was perfect!”

Puzzo also photographed another baby for the Starbucks shoot but without the cake.

The photographer, who moved from Connecticut to Georgia in March, is thrilled with the photos.

“I am extremely happy with how the images came out,” she said. “And all the buzz has been very fun and exciting!”
