WalletHub recently released its list of the "Most Fun Cities in America," and Atlanta was among the top 10.

The personal finance site determined its results by comparing 182 U.S. cities across three categories: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and costs.

Within those sections, the team examined 66 key metrics that ranged from fitness centers per capita to average open hours of breweries. Each metric was weighted and graded on a 100-point scale, with 100 being “the greatest number and variety of fun.”

After assessing the data, WalletHub found Las Vegas was the most fun city with a total score of 72.39. But Atlanta wasn't too far behind at No. 6, which is down two spots from the 2018 report.

Here’s a snapshot of Atlanta’s results:

Total score: 53.95

Entertainment and recreation: No. 14

Nightlife and parties: No. 5

Costs: No. 100

The city was also No. 4 for the most dance clubs per capita.

Augusta and Columbus were included in the roundup, too, but both fell to the bottom of the list. Augusta was No. 142 with a total score of 26.22, and Columbus was No. 155 with a total score of 24.63.
