A study committee of the state House of Representatives will host a meeting in Milledgeville Wednesday morning on the federal government’s role in public education.

The meeting will start at 10 a.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom of the Student Activities Center at the Georgia College Centennial Center. Representatives from several policy groups will make presentations, and the public comment portion of the meeting begins at 3:45 p.m.

Parking for the public will be available in the Centennial Center parking lot. The entrance is at 251 S. Clarke Street, a three-block walk from the meeting location. A university shuttle runs every 15 minutes from the Centennial Center to Maxwell Student Union near the Student Activities Center.
