The State Board of Pardons and Paroles has voted to give its current chairman and vice chairman each another term.

Chairman Albert Murray and Vice Chairman Terry Barnard will stay in their roles at least through June 30, 2014.

Murray is a former commissioner of the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice who was appointed to the board in May 2010. Barnard was a state representative from Tattnall County when he, too, was appointed to the board in May 2010.
