Group rallies against Obamacare at state Capitol

Around 80 people rallied outside of the Georgia Capitol building Monday in support of a proposed bill that would bar the state from implementing any elements of the Affordable Care Act.

The protest was organized by anti-tax group Americans for Prosperity.

“Obamacare is a terrible policy,” said Rep. Jason Spencer, R-Woodbine, a sponsor of House Bill 707. “The state must weaken it at any turn.”
