The Democratic National Convention is less than a month away, and Georgia's delegation to the July 25-28 bash in Philadelphia is set.
The Democratic Party of Georgia has finalized its list of 129 delegates and alternates, the vast majority of whom are pledged to support presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton.
Of the pledged delegates, 79 are supporting Clinton while 32 were pledged to Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has yet to suspend his campaign, despite falling well short of enough delegates to secure the nomination.
The remaining delegates are non-committed and include Georgia's four Democratic members of Congress, former President Jimmy Carter and the other so-called "super delegates," who are party elders and officers who can support the candidate of their choice.
