A disgruntled U.S. State Department staffer was reportedly behind an erroneous posting on the department’s website that President Donald Trump’s and Vice President Mike Pence’s terms of office ended Monday.

Both posts regarding Trump and Pence were purged Monday afternoon from the department’s website.

Trump’s and Pence’s terms expire Jan. 20, when President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be sworn in.
