Skip the pool this weekend and head to Roswell.

With temperatures creeping up to the high 80s this weekend, you don’t want to skip out on fun in the water entirely. And one of the parks in a north Fulton County city is offering free fun with water this weekend — it’s just not happening in a pool.

On Sunday, July 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. kids of all ages can enjoy Roswell’s “Slip ‘n Slide Extravaganza” at Leita Thompson Park.

There will be three slides for different age groups, ranging from 50 to 150 feet.

For more information, please call 770-641-3705.
