UPDATE: The episode of "Cake Wars" featuring Charlise Johnson was originally scheduled to re-air Saturday, but that is no longer the case.

No new re-air date has been announced.

ORIGINAL STORY: A Gwinnett-based baker will be featured on an episode of Food Network's "Cake Wars" this weekend.

Charlise Johnson, who runs a custom-order boutique bakery called Intimate Eats in Norcross, will appear on the show at 8 p.m. Saturday. A news release said she and her Garfield-themed cake did not win the competition (and the $10,000 prize), but made it to the final round.

"I've received overwhelming support from my family, friends and customers since being on the show," Johnson said in the news release. "Although the outcome wasn't exactly what we were hoping for, it was an amazing experience! I appreciate all of the support I've received from everyone."

Johnson studied computer science at the University of North Carolina and works as a database developer. She launched Intimate Eats in 2013 and credits her mother, a successful caterer, with inspiring her love for baking.
