Gov. Nathan Deal announced on Tuesday ambitious plans for investing $10 billion over a decade in massive transportation projects that could reshape metro Atlanta.
The plan includes a multibillion-dollar expansion of I-285 and Ga. 400.
“We promised the people of the state of Georgia that we would show them results, and that is what we are doing here today," Gov. Deal said.
Plans that will affect north Fulton County include:
- I-285 revive express lanes from I-75 to I-85
- Ga. 400 express lanes from I-285 to McGinnis Ferry Road
