The long, countywide nightmare is over — Dreamland Bar-B-Q finally has a Gwinnett location again.

The regional chain's newest restaurant, located at 3540 W. Lawrenceville St. in Duluth, took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to announce that it had officially opened for business.

Dreamland had not had a presence in Gwinnett since its Peachtree Corners location burned down in 2013. Officials broke ground on the new Duluth site, the 1950s-era former warehouse for the Parson's retail chain, in November 2014.

The 6,500-square-foot barbecue joint anchors "The Block," a restaurant and retail hub that's under construction near Duluth's town green.
