Attention, Gwinnett County oenophiles (and casual imbibers): Downtown Lawrenceville has a brand new wine bar.

Riley's On The Square opened late last month at 178 Crogan St., right across from the main downtown parking deck. It functions as a bar, retailer and event space, offering wine both by the glass and bottle.

On July 23, Riley's will host a "grand open house" with specials throughout the day — including buy-one-get-one-free glasses of wine between 3 and 5 p.m., complimentary hor d'oeuvres between 6 and 8 p.m., and live jazz between 8 and 9 p.m.
