It’s only January, but summer will be here soon. And with school out by then, you — a parent — will be looking for something fun for your kid, or kids, to do.

So how does a parent go about picking the perfect camp for their child? That could take a lot of research online. Or, that parent could just ride up to Alpharetta on Jan. 27.

On that day at North Point Mall, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Atlanta Parent Magazine will be hosting its camp expo for 2018. The expo will have information, videos, directors and attendees from more than 50 daytime and overnight camps throughout metro Atlanta and the southeast region.

Parents can have one-on-one chats with camp directors and former attendees, and browse all the information they need.

There is no cost to attend the expo. Camps showcased at the expo are offered for ages ranging from preschool to 18.

Another expo will be held at Perimeter Mall on March 3.

For additional information on the expo, check out the Facebook page for the event or visit the magazine's website.
