Cobb County Commissioner Keli Gambrill, representing District 1, is scheduled to hold a public safety town hall Thursday at 6 p.m. at the North Cobb Regional Library.

Gambrill and Police Deputy Chief Stuart VanHoozer will talk to residents about how to take security measures in their homes, neighborhoods and businesses that best assist Cobb County Poice Department in preventing crime.

Topics to be covered include:

• The importance of tag numbers, clothing, faces

• How to place security cameras and use of “bottlenecks”

• The latest trends in technology that helps solve and prevent crime

• Instances of the Cobb community helping solve and prevent crime in partnership with CCPD
